“ Authentic Vietnamese flavors according to our friends :). Everything was absolutely delicious... my favorite was the fish sauce wings and matcha coffee. A must try if it has been on your radar or if you are reading this ! According to many who recently reviewed this business state that the spicy chicken is only sold on Tuesdays /Thursdays and this is incorrect... the sell this daily so head on over , you wont regret it. I forgot the name of the fish dish ordered had lemon grass and tasted delicious... highly recommend it . Filet mignon clay pot was also delicious but not something I would order again... everyone enjoyed it . I will be back to try some more food. ”
“ This spot is tucked inside the supermarket. The restaurant has a somewhat dim ambiance, which makes it feel less inviting. This place was recommended by my sister. We stopped by for their ube and egg coffee, and also tried a cup of Vietnamese coffee. Everything was delicious and strong. ”
“ I have been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally picked up some to go food. I got the La Vong grilled fish w vermicelli noodles. Fish was cooked perfectly and the tangy shrimp paste was delicious. Place is small. They have a few tables but it seems most of their orders are to go. Service was nice and quick. I will be back on Wednesday n Thursday for the special - grilled chicken w sticky rice. Can't wait to try it. ”
“ WOW! Feels like I was welcomed into someone's home to eat. Staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Food is 100. Service is so fast. They also have a high chair available for those with little ones. We've dined here over a handful of times, and even had them cater a party. Probably the most consistent restaurant I've experienced in terms of food. Truly a hidden gem. Best banh mi in SD! I order the pork banh mi every visit. Fish sauce wings are a must. The ha noi grilled pork dish I haven't had anywhere other than in Vietnam (I can't recommend this dish enough). And the egg coffee is thick, rich, and so delicious. ”

“ If you're ever craving a Vietnamese dish or Vietnamese ube coffee, this is the place! It is located inside Vinh Hung Supermarket! The restaurants is on the smaller side but the service is great! They are fast and clean! The Vietnamese ube coffeeee was soooo good. I almost got two but didn't want to be a crackhead ! lol ”
“ Went here again today because I went t to buy some meat in Vinh Hung , since I have not eaten lunch yet I decided to get something to eat, I have not been here for sometimes and I was thinking of eating spicy chicken and sticky rice but they only serve it on Wednesday and Thursday only so I went for Rice and steak hot pot with onion and mushroom, The rice is crispy and the beef is so tender and it's really good. I ordered some food to go for my wife and went for her favorite shrimp and mango salad and beef with fried rice and also order the egg coffee and it was so good better than Starbucks or better buzz or even 85* and they have 4 flavors that I want to try which are the ube, matcha and salt. I I will come back again because I really wants to try their chicken with sticky rice and the other coffee. ”

This unassuming restaurant inside a Vietnamese grocery store has the best rice plates for an extremely affordable price. We ordered the Spicy Chicken with Sticky Rice, the BBQ chicken plate, and the Filet Mignon pasta (?). - The Spicy Chicken with Sticky Rice is only served on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but it's a must try. The sticky rice is so flavorful with the perfect texture, and the chicken is so tender. The pickled vegetables on the side are super refreshing too. - The BBQ chicken plate was also very solid, rice was cooked perfectly and chicken wasn't dry at all. - We were all very curious about the Filet Mignon Pasta, and it was pretty good. Some sort of asian sauce mixed with penne and flavorful steak! A bit on the heavier side. Despite its name, there is seating inside, so come enjoy a meal here! ”
